What was Achterbouw?
Achterbouw was a writers' camp located in the heart of Antwerp HOSTED BY BIRD. The primary goal of this camp was to bring together artists from Flanders and Brussels, including both emerging talents and established names, to create music in a collaborative environment.

The Camp's Mission:
The camp was designed to foster creativity at all times, in every studio. Each day was filled with music-making sessions, encouraging spontaneous and diverse creative collaborations between artists and producers.

The Goal of the Week:
The main objective of the week was to establish as many new collaborations as possible. Throughout the week, a media team was present to document everything—capturing both video and photography. For each artist who participated, a portrait photo and a short Q&A video were produced, offering an inside look at their creative process.

Media Team’s Role:
The media team’s focus was not just to showcase the artistic results, but also to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the entire process, highlighting the dynamics between the artists and offering a glimpse into the hard work and creativity that went into the music-making.
